EB-3 Visas Brought to Numerical Limit by End of June
Individuals in the EB-3 visa category should take note of the July 2008 Visa Bulletin, which was just released. According to the Department of State:
“Demand for numbers, primarily by USCIS for adjustment of status cases, will bring the entire Employment Third preference category to the annual numerical limit by the end of June. As a result, this category will become ‘unavailable’ beginning in July and will remain so for the remainder of FY-2008.”
This announcement comes as no surprise, as the Department of State had predicted this in the June Visa Bulletin. We STRONGLY encourage individuals who believe they are eligible to apply for a Green Card under the EB-3 category to CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY in order to prepare and file their applications before the beginning of July.
